Then heading to the mythical Cerro Rico cooperative 27 de Marzo, 350 active miners who exploit silver, lead, zinc and tin. Explanation of the current social, political and economic life of miners in a national context. Entrance to the mine visiting different galleries you can see the hard work of the miners inside the mine. Focus on their beliefs, superstitions, myths (Pachamama and Tio deities inside the mine) and social life of the mining family, visit with an ethical and responsible approach towards the miners. Visit that lasts approx. 2 hours, depending on the time demand of tourists.

We left at 8.00 am towards Cerro Rico passing through Calvario to buy gifts such as coca leaves, gloves, water, pencils, notebooks (for the children) we took a public bus from miners to Caracoles (4,400m) viewpoint in Cerro Rico to observe and take photos of the city and Cerro, explanation of colonial and republican mining history of Bolivia and Potosí in the world context. Then we descend through different colonial mines to reach Pailaviri, a mine from the time of COMIBOL (state mine) that was closed in 1984.
Then we descend and observe cooperative mines that are currently exploited to reach the 27 de Marzo cooperative and have an in-depth talk of the life of the miner as well as his current beliefs and hopes as a current social, economic, political life in the local and national context. DAY 1.- Departure approx 10.30 to Cementerio de Trenes Railway Cemetery of economic importance in the railway network in Bolivia and Uyuni. Colchani (salt refineries for national consumption) Playa Blanca (salt hotel the first in the world and Bolivia) Plaza de Banderas then heading to Incahuasi Island full of millenary cacti (flora and fauna of the salt flat) tour or ascent to the top of the island, taking photos of your unforgettable trip to the White Sea of Bolivia, then we go to Coquesa town located at the foot of the Thunupa Volcano (overnight in a hotel built of salt by the inhabitants of the place)
DAY 2.- Very early departure to the viewpoint of the Thunupa Volcano and observe mummies (offerings to the gods by ancient cultures) to sacred places such as volcanoes. Take beautiful and unforgettable photos of the place, salt flat and volcano as well as the population itself. Gradual descent from the viewpoint to tour the town, observe the camelids and quinoa plantations and sighting flamingos at the foot of the volcano. DAY 1.- We leave the office approx. 10.30 towards the Train Cemetery (steam locomotives) explanation of its importance in the railway network. Colchani we observe salt process in the salt cooperatives, Playa Blanca (first salt hotel in Bolivia and the world) taking photos and short videos of the White Sea of Bolivia and then we go to Isla Incahuasi (flora and fauna of the salt flat) tour of the island. Then we will head to Puerto Chuvica to watch the sunset or sunset in the majestic salt flat (national wine and local snacks) Overnight in SAL hostels built by community members who help the economy of the place.
DAY 2.- Very early departure towards Salar de Chiguana we observe camelids, llamas, vicuñas, etc. Active Ollague Volcano (viewpoint 4200 m) Direction to the Altiplanic Lagoon (Cañapa. Hedionda, Chiarkota and Honda) flamingo sighting 3 species. Siloli Desert, Stone Tree, Laguna Colorada largest nest of flamingos in the area. Huayllajara (hotel camp of the place overnight)
DAY 3.- Very early we leave for Sol de Mañana (geysers) Polques thermal lagoon take a relaxing bath in medicinal waters. Dalí Desert admire the colors of the mountains and then head to Licancabur Volcano at the foot of which is Laguna Blanca y Verde, very close to the Chilean border. Return via Capina, Villa Mar (very picturesque town in the Bolivian highlands) San Cristobal, (largest mining center in Bolivia that exploits in the open pit) Uyuni (end of our services)
