Then heading to the mythical Cerro Rico cooperative 27 de Marzo, 350 active miners who exploit silver, lead, zinc and tin. Then we descend through different colonial mines to reach Pailaviri, a mine from the time of COMIBOL (state mine) that was closed in 1984.
Then we descend and observe cooperative mines that are currently exploited to reach the 27 de Marzo cooperative and have an in-depth talk of the life of the miner as well as his current beliefs and hopes as a current social, economic, political life in the local and national context. Take beautiful and unforgettable photos of the place, salt flat and volcano as well as the population itself. Gradual descent from the viewpoint to tour the town, observe the camelids and quinoa plantations and sighting flamingos at the foot of the volcano. DAY 3.- Very early we leave for Sol de Mañana (geysers) Polques thermal lagoon take a relaxing bath in medicinal waters. Dalí Desert admire the colors of the mountains and then head to Licancabur Volcano at the foot of which is Laguna Blanca y Verde, very close to the Chilean border. Return via Capina, Villa Mar (very picturesque town in the Bolivian highlands) San Cristobal, (largest mining center in Bolivia that exploits in the open pit) Uyuni (end of our services)
